Notice on the use of cookies and similar technologies
This Notice explains how personal data is collected, used and disclosed through cookies and similar technologies on the website https://www.alufence-th.com, operated under the trade name Alufence.
It is issued under Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) and related laws, subordinate legislation and guidelines, insofar as they require notice before or at the time of collection and consent where the law so requires.
1 Data controller

2 Definitions
In this Notice, “cookies” means small data files placed on your device, browser or browsing environment by the website or by a third-party provider, and similar technologies such as pixels, embedded scripts, device identifiers and local storage that read or store information when you visit the website.
“First-party cookies” are set by the Alufence website. “Third-party cookies” are set by an external provider when that provider’s content or tools are loaded on the website.
“Consent” means consent of the data subject under the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562, which must be unambiguous, freely given, and withdrawable.
3 Legal basis
The controller collects and uses data through cookies that are necessary for the website to function and to remember your choices on a legal basis that does not require additional consent, being necessary to provide the service you request and to maintain the security of the website.
Non-essential cookies and tools, including analytics and marketing tools, are activated only after you have given consent. That consent is the legal basis for the related collection, use and disclosure of personal data.
Refusing or withdrawing consent does not prevent you from using the principal content of the website, including product videos embedded from YouTube, except for functions that depend on analytics or marketing tools.
4 Categories of cookies used on the website
Necessary cookies. The controller uses a cookie named alufence_consent to store your consent choice. It is retained for 180 days, uses SameSite=Lax, and is not used for advertising. It cannot be switched off in the preference centre because the website must remember your consent status.
Product videos. Product pages load embedded YouTube videos to present the products. Those videos are not a cookie-settings choice. Google may set its own cookies or identifiers on the iframe under Google’s policies, which the controller cannot fully control.
Analytics. If you allow it, the controller may use Google Analytics to measure visits and page use, and Microsoft Clarity for on-page analytics including heatmaps and session recordings, with text in form fields masked. These tools are not loaded until you grant analytics consent, and only if the controller has configured the relevant identifier.
Marketing. If you allow it, the controller may use Google Ads to measure advertising and conversions, and Meta Pixel to measure campaigns on Meta services. These tools are not loaded until you grant marketing consent, and only if the relevant identifier has been configured.
5 Google Tag Manager, Search Console, the showroom map and YouTube videos
Google Tag Manager is a tag-management system and is not itself an advertising tool. When installed, the website transmits consent status to Google under Consent Mode v2, defaulting advertising and analytics storage to denied and then granting only the categories you select. Tags in that system should be bound to the matching consent category.
Google Search Console is used to verify website ownership with Google through a page verification code. It does not set advertising cookies on a visitor’s device and is not a choice in the cookie settings.
The contact page loads a Google Maps embed to show the showroom location. That map is not a cookie-settings choice. Google may set its own cookies or identifiers on the iframe under Google’s policies, which the controller cannot fully control.
Product pages load embedded YouTube videos to present the products. Those videos are likewise not a cookie-settings choice. Google may set its own cookies or identifiers on the iframe under Google’s policies.
6 Cookie and tool inventory

Analytics and marketing tools operate only if the controller has installed the relevant identifier and you have granted the matching category. If no identifier is installed, the tool is not loaded.
7 Third-party providers and cross-border transfers
When you allow a third-party tool to load, or when the Google Maps embed or a YouTube video is displayed, data may be sent to that provider, which may process it outside Thailand, including in countries whose data-protection laws differ from Thai law.
Collection, use and disclosure by those providers are governed by their own privacy policies. You are encouraged to read the notices issued by Google, Meta and Microsoft, as applicable.
The controller takes reasonable steps to withhold non-essential tools until consent is obtained, but cannot warrant the operations of third-party providers.
8 Granting, refusing and withdrawing consent
On visiting the website you may accept all cookies, keep necessary cookies only, or choose by category. Consent is stored in the alufence_consent cookie for 180 days or until you change your choice.
You may change or withdraw consent at any time through cookie settings. A new choice replaces the previous one and applies to tools loaded from that time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
Independently of the website settings, you may delete or block cookies in your browser. Browser settings may prevent some website functions from working fully.
9 Data-subject rights
Subject to the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 and legal exceptions, you have the right to access and obtain a copy of your personal data; to be informed of the source of data collected without your consent; to obtain data in a commonly usable electronic format; to have data transmitted to another controller where the law so provides; to object to collection, use or disclosure; to request erasure or destruction; to request restriction of use; to request rectification; and to lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Committee.
The controller will consider requests within the time and on the conditions prescribed by law. Some rights may be limited where a statute so provides or where compliance would affect the rights of others.
10 Changes to this Notice
The controller may amend this Notice when cookie use, measurement tools, applicable law or business needs change. An amendment takes effect when the revised Notice is published on the website, with the effective date and version stated at the head of the Notice.
If a change would collect, use or disclose personal data in a materially different way and the law requires fresh consent, the controller will enable you to give that consent.
